Weekly Meal Planner & Grocery List

Plan the week’s meals in minutes and get a grocery list that writes itself. Save your family’s go-to recipes once, pick what you’re eating each day, and the spreadsheet adds up every ingredient into one shopping list, sorted the way you walk the store.

What’s inside

• Dashboard: meals planned, items to buy, shopping cost, cost per person, minutes in the kitchen and what’s left in your food budget
• Weekly Plan: breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack for 7 days, with minutes and cost per day
• Recipes: your recipe box with meal type, time, servings, tags, cost per recipe and cost per serving
• Ingredients: list each recipe’s ingredients once with quantity, unit, store section and cost
• Grocery List: builds itself from your plan. The same ingredient in several recipes becomes one line with the total amount. Mark what you already have
• Also buy: a space for drinks, household items and anything not in a recipe
• Setup: household name, week start date, people to feed, food budget, currency and your store sections in order
• Start Here guide, plus a filled-in example with 20 recipes and a full week planned for a family of four

How it works

1. Download the files after purchase
2. Open in Excel, or upload to Google Drive and open with Google Sheets (share it with your household and check the list on your phone in the store)
3. Add your recipes and their ingredients once, then pick meals for the week. Type only in the yellow cells. Everything else updates by itself

Good to know

• Works in Excel 2016 or newer, Excel for Mac, Microsoft 365 and Google Sheets
• Any currency. Costs are optional; the planner works fine without them
• Reuse it every week: clear the plan, change the start date and plan again. Your recipes stay saved
• This is a digital download. Nothing will be shipped
• For your own household use. Please do not share or resell the files
• Need help? Message us on Etsy and we’ll get you set up
